The farm is located near the village of Kastelli Pediados, in the Prefecture of Heraklion in Crete (coordinates 35.220751, 25.295476), only about 35 minutes to the southeast of the city of Heraklion. This area where the farm is situated is the famous “Omfalio Pedio” (meaning “Navel Plain”), where in mythology Zeus had his navel string drop off as he was transported away.
There are three ways to come to us from the city of Heraklion:
- From Heraklion and the airport, drive in the national road towards Agios Nikolaos. After 4 Km turn right to Episkopi. After Episkopi, you drive towards Moni Agkarathou – Kasteli. At 5 Km before Kasteli, you arrive at Apostoli, our village. At the centre of the village there are signs pointing you to our farm. Travel distance: 26 Km, travel time: 26 minutes.
- You take the national road to Hersonissos and turn right to Kasteli at the junction of Kasteli – Oropedio Lasithiou, just before Hersonissos (this is also the route to follow if you’re coming from Hersonissos). At the next junction Kasteli – Lassithi, you again turn right to Kasteli. Reaching Kasteli you turn right following the (old) road to Heraklion. Then at about 5 km you will find the village of Apostoli. At the centre of the village there is a large church and 100 meters after that there are signs pointing you to our farm. Travel time from Hersonissos junction: 20 minutes.
- From Heraklion you take the new road to Viannos – Arkalohori. At the Peza junction you turn left to Kasteli, via Agies Paraskies. You then arrive at Apostoli, in the middle of the village you will see the signs that point you to our farm. Travel time: 35 minutes.
